The best quality of raw materials are used for manufacture of power transformers at KTPL. This is achieved by very stringent vendor approval procedure and incoming material inspection. The windings are checked for the dimensions, copper size, insulation, turns, tapings, as per the design data sheet and core coil assemblies are checked for yoke filling clamping, ratio test, HV and LV connection, tanking and assembly is checked for dimensions.
